Q: What is The Lifestyles Program?
A: The Lifestyles Program is what makes living at The Blairs unique – a variety of fitness clubs, social events, and other activities at no added cost to you. From complimentary Zumba and yoga classes, to happy hours and volunteer events, there are endless opportunities to meet your neighbors, be active, and get involved in your community. We also provide green living resources to all of our residents.
Q: What type of apartments do you offer?
A: We offer studios, one, two and three bedroom apartment homes. Our apartment homes have been newly renovated, with five different finish levels to choose from, along with garden, townhome and high rise style living options. Some finishes include stone countertops, ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths, and clean-steel appliances.
Q: Do you accept pets?
A: Yes, most of the buildings are pet friendly; however we do have one pet-free building. Your pets will feel right at home the first time they visit one of our two dog parks, Lucy’s Landing and Fancy’s Field. We also offer complimentary Yappy Hours for our pets and residents to enjoy! Here at The Blairs, we provide as many opportunities for residents (both human and furry!) to meet their neighbors. Please see your leasing professional for more details, including breed restrictions.
Q: Are utilities included?
A: Gas and water are included in most apartment homes, and some include electric. Your leasing professional can provide the specific details for each apartment before choosing your new home.
Q: Do you offer short term lease agreements?
A: Yes, and you can select from multiple lease term choices, usually between 3 and 12 months. Ask your leasing professional what we have available to best suit your needs.
Q: Do you have reserved parking?
A: Yes, we have a limited number of reserved parking spaces available. There are several parking options available, either in one of our surface lots or inside of one of our covered parking garages. Ask your leasing professional for additional information on price and availability.
Q: Do you have a concierge service that will accept my packages?
A: The Blairs offers a full service concierge to assist you 7 days a week. In addition to accepting your packages, our concierge team can also provide a number of different services including: travel arrangements, rental car services, dining recommendations and much, much more!
Q: What days of the week can I move in?
A: Our move in schedule offers the utmost in flexibility as we allow residents to move in seven days a week. Select buildings do have designated entry doors and scheduled elevator hours. See your leasing professional for more details.
Q: Do you accept online rent payment?
A: Yes, we do. Through our online, resident-only web portal, you can pay your rent using credit or debit cards as well as automatic monthly bank withdrawals. The resident web portal also offers package acceptance and notification, maintenance service requests, amenity reservations, resident event calendars and a marketplace to buy, sell or trade goods or services with your neighbors.
Q: Do I need a car if I live at The Blairs?
A: The Blairs is supremely located minutes from the Silver Spring metro station, MARC train, and several bus lines, including the S2, S4, and S9 and Ride On’s Free Silver Spring VanGo Shuttle. You can be in the heart of Downtown DC in twenty minutes, with no transfers. Residents also receive a discounted Zipcar membership, a convenient car sharing service with two cars and a Zipvan located on the property.
