Service Request
Blairs standard turn process is used to prepare your apartment before you move-in. Our maintenance staff will make sure your unit is cleaned, painted, and all appliances are working 
No you do not have to be present unless you would like to be.
We do have on-site maintenance. We offer 24-hour emergency maintenance so when issues do arise we’ve got you covered!
For any work order, please log on to your resident portal to enter a work ticket for our maintenance staff.
We have 24 hour concierge who can assist getting you safely into your home.

Amenities
There are several parking options available, either in one of our surface lots or inside of one of our covered parking garages. Ask your sales and service professional for additional information on price and availability.
The Blairs is excited to be able to provide some of the most impressive amenities in Silver Spring, as well as the most impressive amenity of all, The Lifestyles Program! This exciting new and inclusive program is available to all residents at no indoor and outdoor parking, bike room, pet grooming room, urban farm, monthly resident events, and much more!
Absolutely! Our pets will feel right at home the first time they visit our 5,000 sq ft dog park. We also offer complimentary Yappy Hours for our pets and residents to enjoy! Here at The Blairs, we provide as many opportunities for residents (both human and furry!) to meet their neighbors. Please see your sales and service professional for more details, including breed restrictions.
The standard appliances in all of our units are stainless steel and energy efficient refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
The Blairs partners with third party furniture rental companies. Please contact the leasing office for additional information. 
We offer studios, one, two and three bedroom apartment homes. Our apartment homes have been newly renovated, with five different finish levels to choose from, along with garden, townhome and high rise style living options. Some finishes include stone countertops, ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths, and clean-steel appliances.
Yes, and you can select from multiple lease term choices, usually between 3 and 24 months. Ask your sales and service professional what we have available to best suit your needs.
The Blairs offers a full service concierge to assist you 7 days a week. In addition to accepting your packages, our concierge team can also provide a number of different services including: travel arrangements, rental car services, dining recommendations and much, much more!

It may take 1 to 5 business days to review and screen your application.
You may pay rent online or using checks. Through our online portal, you can pay your rent using checking/savings account, credit or debit cards as well as automatic monthly bank withdrawals. The resident web portal also offers package acceptance and notification, maintenance service requests, amenity reservations, resident event calendars and a marketplace to buy, sell or trade goods or services with your neighbors.
Yes, we require all of our residents to carry personal liability renter’s insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 prior to move-in. The Property must be listed as an interested party on the policy. Renter’s insurance can often be bundled with your current car insurance for a minimal fee per month. Visit www.epremiuminsurance.com for a competitive qoute or you may also use your own preferred insurance company.
Cable/Internet service will be at the discretion of the resident. One or more options from - RCN, Comcast and/or Verizon maybe available depending on the property.
You are responsible for your rent through the terms that are stated in your lease agreement. If breaking a lease agreement is necessary, the Blairs still requires a 60 day notice (which you are financially responsible for), plus an additional two months of rent (for a total of 4 months), plus paying back any rent concessions that were given upon move in. Residents may also try to find someone who can take over their lease to avoid incurring these charges. All new applicants must fill out an application through the Blairs so that they may be properly screened and approved by our office. ***In the case of military deployment, with proof of deployment paperwork, the resident is required to give a 30 day notice and is financially responsible through those 30 days.
Gas and water are included in most apartment homes. Your sales and service professional can provide the specific details for each apartment before choosing your new home.

The Blairs is supremely located minutes from the Silver Spring metro station, MARC train, Paul Sarbanes transit center and several bus lines, including the S2, S4, and S9 and Ride On’s Free Silver Spring VanGo Shuttle. You can be in the heart of Downtown DC in twenty minutes, with no transfers. Residents also receive a discounted Zipcar membership, a convenient car sharing service with two cars and a Zipvan located on the property.
